What We Do and Who We Are

Marin Horizon School embraces the spirit of family, volunteerism and the unique experiences that only an independent school can offer. Our strong community is based on the partnership forged among parents, students and faculty and is the foundation for teaching and learning.

The Parent Association includes all parents at our school and supports our educational efforts through volunteer service and fundraising programs. Parents are an integral part of this community where students, families, faculty and staff place a high value on the intangible asset of strong personal relationships.

First and foremost, getting involved with the PA is fun! It gives you a chance to share your talents, learn more about MHS, meet and work with other parents, and form lasting friendships. No matter your available time and interests, there are opportunities for everyone to be involved with the PA. We encourage you to make the time to volunteer because together, we can make a difference in the lives of our children. Please contact Bev Boorman in the Development Office at (415) 388-8408 x234 and she can help you find the volunteer opportunity that works best for you.
