Beyond the School Day

After-School Enrichment

Marin Horizon School's enrichment program offers a wide array of after-school programs to children from primary age through grade 8. These classes are offered at additional cost to MHS children and we also welcome friends from other schools. Offerings change two to three times a year and may include Indian arts and crafts, cooking, Spanish, Irish step dancing, Tae Kwon Do, drama, science, chess, piano, and basketball. The MHS Enrichment Program also has an annual school play in the fall for grades 2-8.

After-School Athletics

Students in grades 3-8 may participate in an after-school sports program that includes soccer, flag football and cross-country in the fall, basketball in winter, and softball and track in the spring. Skills are taught in regular PE classes and games are played after school. Depending on interest, other athletic activities are offered through our enrichment program.

Horizon Center And Extended Care
