Toddler « Curriculum

The Toddler program offers 2-3 year old children a first experience away from home in a welcoming and secure classroom that includes indoor and outdoor space. At this age, children are devoted to discovering everything they can about the world around them and mastering gross and fine motor development.

Our classroom materials are designed to promote exploration of the senses and to advance practical life skills, early acquisition of language and mathematical skills, as well as a sense of order. Materials are rotated frequently and become increasingly complex throughout the year. Imaginative play is encouraged and the learning is fun as well as purposeful.

At this stage, toddlers absorb the knowledge essential to their growth as they begin to build language skills, social awareness and an understanding of their place in the world.
