Head of School Welcome
Dear Families,
When I step onto campus my senses come alive. I hear the symphony of joyful learning; I see the interactions among children and caring adults, and I feel the sense of community that sets Marin Horizon School apart.
Our students learn how to think, not just what to know. Every day, they think deeply, ask questions, collaborate, and take intellectual risks. Through hands-on projects, discussions, and problem-solving, students become critical thinkers prepared to adapt as the world changes.
Our students stretch themselves. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the trail, students build confidence and resilience by pushing their boundaries and learning from mistakes. They do this surrounded by adults who pay close attention, offer direct feedback, and provide steady guidance.
Our students belong here and in the world. Small classes, close relationships, and shared adventures create a sense of belonging that extends beyond the campus. Each student emerges from our program confident in their voice and with a sense of purpose, preparing them for meaningful participation in the world beyond the classroom.
As Interim Head of School, I am honored to guide Marin Horizon during this transition. I invite you to visit, ask questions, and see firsthand why Marin Horizon is such a special place to grow, learn, and belong.
Warmly,
Andy Davies
Interim Head of School
