Toddler Experience (Ages 2-3)
A TIME TO EXPLORE.
A child's journey at Marin Horizon begins with exploration because before children can reason, they must first experience. Even before they can name it, toddlers begin building the sense of belonging that will become their lifelong confidence. In this earliest chapter, that belonging looks like trust: trust in a caregiver, in a new space, in their own budding voice. Toddlers learn through movement, touch, conversation, observation, and play. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to build language, form relationships, express kindness, explore how the world works.
Even at this earliest stage, learning is transdisciplinary and intentionally connected.
A walk in the park becomes a chance to observe living things, build vocabulary, count discoveries, tell stories, and practice caring for one another — the first steps of the journey toward Explore, Discover, Inquire, and Become.
Equally intentional is the developmental journey itself. The Toddler Experience is designed not simply for today's milestones, but to prepare children for what comes next.

POTTY TRAINING
The faculty supports students wherever they are in the potty training process. All potty activity is recorded for each child every day, and most toddlers are potty trained by the end of the school year.
