Applying to Marin Horizon

We're excited that you're considering Marin Horizon for your student. Our admissions team is eager to connect with you personally and to learn more about your family.

Applicants who have completed all required application items by January 30, 2026 will receive a decision via the admissions portal on March 10, 2026 for Toddler and Primary applicants, and March 19, 2026 for Kindergarten to 8th-grade applicants.

We are still accepting applications in select grades. Please reach out to us to see if we are accepting applications for the grade you are interested in.

Steps to Apply

STEP 1:  Express your interest

Marin Horizon uses Ravenna as our application system. The first step in the application process is to create an online inquiry and admissions account through Ravenna.com (if you have not already done so), and navigate to Marin Horizon through the School Directory. 

STEP 2:  Visit our campus

Register for a Tour or Open House and see our dynamic and motivated learners being active participants in their education. Observe skilled teachers who make each lesson an immersive learning experience to ensure deep academic understanding. Please visit the Events and Tours page for dates.​

STEP 3:  Submit your application

Marin Horizon use Ravenna as our application system. In order to inquire, visit, or submit an application, you'll need to create a Ravenna account. You can do so here.​

STEP 4:  Schedule a Parent Interview

We look forward to getting to know you, your student, and what's important to your family. The parent interview is also an opportunity for you to get to know us, and ask questions to determine if the mission and approach of the school is right for you.

STEP 5:  Schedule a Student Visit Day

We like our prospective students to experience Marin Horizon. We ask every applicant to spend a day on campus, attend a few classes, and get familiar with their potential classmates. We believe in students having a voice in their admissions process.​

STEP 6:  Submit additional materials (grade-level specific) 

Depending on the grade-level of a prospective student, we may request additional materials, including teacher recommendations, transcripts, and student essays.
