  • Marin Horizon Alumni Council Sock Drive for Homeless Shelters

The 2016/17 Marin Horizon Alumni Council Sock Drive for Homeless Shelters
Each morning we put on a clean pair of socks with hardly a thought. But for our community’s homeless, a fresh pair of socks is often a luxury. By helping us with our sock drive, you not only help keep our community’s homeless healthy, but you also help people maintain their dignity and comfort during a difficult time in their lives.

Donate at least one new pair of men’s or women’s socks (wool or cotton are best).
The Marin Horizon Alumni Sock Drive is an easy and inexpensive way to have a big impact on the health, safety, and comfort of our community’s homeless.

Thank you so much for your support. There will be a collection box in the hall outside of the Admission Office.

Please help us reach our goal of 250 pairs of new socks.

Although our 8th graders were away on their outdoor education trip, we had an amazing response from our 6th and 7th grade students, with 19 athletes representing our school! All of our athletes demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Standouts included Griffin H. who took third place in the 7th grade boys race and Audrey G. who finished fifth in the 6th grade girls race.
