October 25th: Raising Successful Children with Kathy Hirsh-Pasek
Dr. Hirsh-Pasek is the Stanley and Debra Lefkowitz Faculty Fellow in the department of psychology at Temple University where she serves as director of the Infant Language Laboratory. For more than 30 years she has performed groundbreaking research in language and literacy and contributed to advances in education through her work on playful learning and early spatial development. She is the author of 14 books, including How Babies Talk: The Magic and Mystery of Language in the First Three Years of Life and Einstein Never used Flashcards: How Children Really Learn and Why They Need to Play More and Memorize Less.
