Announcing the Marin Horizon Virtual Book Fair!

The Marin Horizon Virtual Book Fair, in partnership with Copperfield’s bookstore, kicks off on November 16, and will feature nightly Zoom events including readings and activities with local authors all week long! The festivities will begin with a spotlight on Marin Horizon mom and accomplished author/illustrator Bethanie Murguia! Bethanie is Mom to Audrey, in 6th grade. She will read her recent book, The Favorite Book - which has a theme of gratitude, and she will offer a short illustration workshop as well.

Other featured authors include locals David Swope, Misa Sugiura, Victoria Piontek, Leila Sen, and Renee Watson (also featured at the Marin City library). Click here for more information about the exciting events and activities offered during the Book Fair week.

The book fair is is also a chance to get a jump on holiday shopping: there will be books and other gifts suitable for kids of all ages—and adults, too! A robust selection of materials about diversity, anti-racism, and inclusion will also be available. Although we cannot offer a live book fair event this year, the good news is all of our friends and family can shop the book fair and support Marin Horizon! Book Fair link and more details will follow.
