Community Association Monthly Meeting and Parent Education Evening with Tiffany Shlain

Tuesday, October 18
6:00-7:30 p.m.
Library

The Community Association invites you to hear from one of the Bay Area’s iconic personalities, Tiffany Shlain.

Tiffany Shlain is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, filmmaker, and public speaker. Her work explores the relationship between humanity and technology: the future of work, digital wellbeing and happiness; gender and women's rights; and neuroscience and creativity. The Museum of Modern Art in New York premiered her one-woman spoken cinema show Dear Human just before the pandemic. She performed this piece for the first time since then in Rio de Janeiro in July 2022, where she received the Neil Postman Award in Career Achievement in Intellectual Activity. You may read Tiffany's full bio here.

Come connect with your fellow Marin Horizon caregivers and parents, and hear some hot tips for living in our new post-COVID, technology-infused world.

Tiffany will be signing copies of her bestselling book, 24/6: Giving up Screens One Day a Week to Get More Time, Creativity, and Connection, available for purchase that evening.
