UPDATE 8/20/2018: Story Poles and Updated Renderings

Dear Neighbors,

On Tuesday, the Marin Horizon campus will be bustling again as we welcome our students back for the start of another school year. Before our classes get underway, we want to share yet another neighbor update regarding the ongoing campus proposal.

As we communicated in our last email, the story poles around campus have come down in order to ensure the safety of students once they are back running around campus. Over the past two weeks, we hope you have had a chance to see the story poles that illustrate our revisions to the original proposal, which include lower heights, greater setbacks, and building size reductions. For reference, we also have documented various viewpoints of the story poles with photos, which can be seen on our website: www.MarinHorizon.org/CampusPlan.

Finally, we have received word from the County of Marin that our campus plan will be discussed at the September 20th Tam Design Review Board Meeting, which takes place at 7pm at the Homestead Valley Community Center. That evening, we will present the various reductions to the previous campus plan for their review and consideration.

We welcome all questions and comments on the process, which you can send by replying to this email or sending an email through the website. Once again, we thank you for your input and participation in our campus proposal process.

Warm regards,

Bill Perrine,
Head of School
