Technology

Technology at Marin Horizon

At Marin Horizon, we use technology as a tool to engage students in creative and innovative ways. We recognize the potential of technology to enhance teaching, yet we remain thoughtful in its use with a strong focus on creating responsible digital citizens.

Our guiding principles of fostering intellectual curiosity through a profound and challenging curriculum provide a framework for forging academic excellence within the context of today’s technological environment. We equip students with the tools and skills necessary including access to some of the best online learning programs, 1:1 Chromebooks for the early grades, and iPad Airs for the upper school students.

Digital Citizenship

Marin Horizon School uses Common Sense Media as well as other resources to integrate the teaching of media literacy and digital citizenship into the school’s curriculum.
