Summer Camp 2026

Marin Horizon Summer Camp 

Open to all children, regardless of whether they attend school at Marin Horizon.​

  • Open to children ages 2 years, 9 months to 5 years old. Rooms are grouped by age. 

  • All students must be fully potty trained to participate in camp. 

  • Regular hours are 9:00AM - 4:00PM. Drop-off will be no earlier than 8:30AM; last pickup is 4:20PM. 

  • Modified day 9:00AM to 2:00PM is available. 

  • Please send a snack and lunch with your child. 

  • There will be a quiet rest period for students who nap. 

  • The last day of enrollment is June 1st. 

  • An enrollment confirmation will be sent immediately upon enrollment from Homeroom.com. 

  • An additional email with specific information will be sent a week before the camp week starts.

Kindercamp - June 22 to 26

Specifically for kindergarten students who are enrolled at Marin Horizon for the 2026-2027 school year.​

  • Regular hours are from 8:30 - 12:30 PM.

  • Please send a snack and a bag lunch with your child.

  • Designed to give students (and parents) the opportunity to acclimate to the new school year in order to ease the transition to Kindergarten.

  • Teachers will introduce a variety of classroom routines and lively activities to provide campers with a foundation for kindergarten.

Day Camp Offerings

Each week students take part in a themed week. When the weather allows, there will be water-play available.

Book

WEEK 1: Storybook Adventures

June 22-26

Children step into the pages of their favorite stories through art, play, and imagination. Each day features a different book that inspires activities like character crafts, pretend play, and simple storytelling games. It is a cozy, creative week filled with wonder.

Fireworks

WEEK 2: Red, White, & Blue!

June 29-July 2 (no camp July 3)

This cheerful celebration of summertime brings lots of color, music, and outdoor fun. Children enjoy festive crafts, water play, simple parades, and bright sensory activities. The week highlights togetherness, joy, and classic summer traditions. 


WEEK 3: Mini Olympics

July 6-10

Children move, stretch, and explore their strength and coordination through playful challenges. They try age-friendly obstacle courses, team games, and silly sports that keep them active and engaged. It is all about cheering each other on and having fun. 

WEEK 4: Music & Motion

July 13-17

This upbeat week invites children to explore rhythm, sound, and big joyful motions. They dance, make and play simple instruments, and experiment with beats. Outdoor movement games and group activities help them express themselves through sound and motion. 


WEEK 5: Cooking Week

July 20-24

Young chefs dive into hands-on food exploration. They mix, assemble, taste, and create simple recipes while learning about ingredients and kitchen tools. The focus is on sensory discovery, trying new things, and enjoying the process. 

WEEK 6: Little Scientist

July 27-31 

Curious minds come alive through fun experiments and playful exploration. Children observe reactions, test ideas, and explore nature with magnifying glasses and sensory materials. The week encourages wonder, questions, and joyful discovery.

Extended care hours: 8:30-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:30 p.m.  
Fees for morning care: 3 Days - $24, 4 Days - $32, 5 Days - $40
Fees for after care:  3 Days - $60, 4 Days - $80, 5 Days - $100

Cancellation/Refunds Policy:
Tuition must be paid in full when registering each camper.
All requests for a refund must be made in writing.
